Post Information:

Trainee Software engineers will be assigned a mentor who will be held responsible for their development activities and engineering progress to Software engineer.

• To assist in the maintenance of existing systems and in the development of new systems following specified standards, methods and processes under the supervision of an experienced Software Engineer.
• To assist in the design of logical and physical information systems and produce system documentation to relevant standards.
• To assist in the testing of Information Systems products and the diagnosis of faults detected during testing.
• To assist in the management of individual system maintenance issues (such as faults or updates) from investigation through to build including all fault diagnosis and re-testing where necessary under the supervision of an experienced Software Engineer.

Experience:
You will be expected to demonstrate a combination of skills and depending upon the primary focus on the project, you will draw from the following:-

• Skills and experience:
• 6 months Software Engineering or equivalent experience.

Qualifications:

• Min 5 GCSE or equivalent, including Mathematics and English Language
• HND (or above) in computer related course
