An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Intelligence Manager working within the Business Operations Department of MGt. We are looking for a candidate that can provide business intelligence and business insight in a fast moving digital media environment.

You will provide management through the design, delivery and automation of management and operational information and in addition will:

Duties will involve:

• Support, manage and develop an experienced team of Business Intelligence Analysts and Report Developers.
• Advise on CRM and data-warehouse development.
• Liaise with Operations, Professional Services, Software Engineering and MGt Clients.
• Track organisational trends, identifying areas of concern and notifying appropriate managers of these.
• Meet targets and service level agreements set for daily operations and specific projects allocated.

Candidates are required to display the following:

• Sound numeracy skills and relevant qualifications.
• Suitable experience in a Business Intelligence environment
• Excellent IT skills and the use of a variety of computer packages
• Proven record with business intelligence tools. Business Objects will be advantageous.
• Effective communication skills
• Experience in report automation will be advantageous.

MGt require a person with a strong IT/analytical background. The ability to work under pressure with a practical approach to solving problems is paramount in this role, as are excellent communication and organisation skills and the ability to take ownership of issues until resolution.
